This device performs two functions: It works as a key and a keyless entry remote. The key part works the ignition of your vehicle while the remote operates the keyless entry functions (remote lock, unlock, etc). The item pictured uses a high security key blade, a special type of blade that is cut down the center of the key rather than the edges. Cutting this key will require the service of a locksmith. Most hardware stores do not offer a high security key cutting service.
