This item is a brand new uncut transponder key that is compatible with a variety of Ford, Lincoln, Mazda, and Mercury models  manufactured between 2000-2017. This key comes embedded with a small electronic chip called a transponder. Once this key is cut and programmed correctly to your vehicle then inserted into the ignition, it emits a signal to the vehicle’s Engine Control Unit (ECU). The ECU will recognize the unique code of the transponder, activating the engine and limiting the risk of theft or fraudulent key duplication.
